Just saw the headlines about the stock market today. Serves me right for not being able to check email or the internet all day today, preoccupied with my own things. Shit. Now feeling glib and foolishly giddy, worried about what it will feel like to be in the U.S. in 5 days. We're all insulated from this, over here, either by choice or due to telecommunications. It is hard to make sense of, when it is so hard to just check your bank account, and the time difference keeps you at two-arms-length. It makes me worry how it will affect people here, the world market.

Unceremoniously, now, to sleep. Hmm.
