we're home

Moving in and settling - punctuated by a trip to Heidelberg for a conference (the timing seemed fine, back in March) - are taking up most of our time. All is well, we live in a great apartment in Harlem right by Morningside park, there are still boxes in one room, we spent hours at the Container Store and Home Depot yesterday, I need to stock my kitchen, the first day of the class I TA for is today, teaching resumes tomorrow, I need to move into my office, etc., etc., etc.

Which is to say - more to come, eventually. But we are home, and we are happy.
