The other thing...
was that Butler Library is deserted tonight. Like, break-level empty. I know that the weekend starts on Thursday for the kids, but it was amazing. The lounge that's usually packed (because you can have food) was sedate at best, and my lovely main reading room had maybe 5 single souls, compared to the usual 60.

deserted, perhaps! except for the most important people on the planet! but how fantastic to run into a friend at random. although... now that i know you haunt the damned place, maybe not so random... hmm. ps, dinner was a bust; i should stop trying to get a job out of a dinner engagement (ho hum.)
