Bring it on, thirties!

I am fueled by adorable mini-bundt cakes, gummi candies, schnitzel, a cocktail called the "green door"*, fresh flowers, neato t-shirts**, döner kebap, opera, Kaiserschmarrn, music from 1992, cute new bags, and so, so much love from my near-who-are-not-physically-so-near-&-dears.

Three weeks to go, it's fuel I'm gonna need. They brought out a box today at one of my small archives and said "hey, that guy you mentioned...what was his name, Stendal, Steudel?". I said "Steudel". And they said "ja, great - here's a box of his stuff". Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, indeed!!!
